The outside of the pack is clearly marked for quick and easy identification of the unit and the large front external pocket is capable of carrying even the largest rechargeable Lithium or spare NiCd battery. The three outside zip down pockets are designed to hold an adult BVM, or other AED accessories, such as cables, simulators, training pads, or CPR supplies.

Inside the pack, the AED is firmly secured to the base by two adjustable straps and protected by half inch of Evazote foam on the base and a redi-splint on all sides, which can also be removed and used in any situation that requires splinting. The large clear vinyl pocket located immediately above the AED allows for the storage of multiple adult electrodes. The location and size of the vinyl pocket also allows the electrodes to be stored in the "attached" position, saving valuable time at the scene.

Two additional vinyl pockets are also provided for the storage for pediatric electrodes, clippers, gloves, or razors. A large hidden pocket, marked by the white pull tab, provides additional accessory storage, such as an emergency blanket or large sterile pads.

Similar to the Thomas Aeromed pack and Emergency Responder, the AED pack is also capable of carrying multiple cervical collars along the base of the back.

Manufactured with 1000 Dupont denier coated cordura and 400d pack cloth, YKK reverse pulls and zipper, The Thomas AED pack also contains multiple D rings for quick and easy attachment of backpack straps or attachment to other packs.
